Life does not always unfold as expected. You may be coping with anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, relationship difficulties, or a significant life transition. Sometimes clients seek therapy because they are overwhelmed by a recent loss. Others come because they have spent years putting everyone else's needs first and have realized they need support themselves.
Therapy provides a space to slow down, gain perspective, and better understand the factors influencing your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and decisions. My goal is to help clients develop insight, strengthen coping skills, and make meaningful changes that improve both their emotional well-being and their daily lives.
Together, we work toward creating a deeper understanding of yourself while developing practical tools that support lasting change.

Individual Therapy
Therapy offers a space to step away from the pressures of daily life and focus on understanding yourself more fully. Together, we will explore the patterns, experiences, and relationships that contribute to your current challenges while developing practical tools to help you navigate them more effectively.
I work with adults experiencing:
-
Anxiety and chronic stress
-
Depression
-
Grief and loss
-
ADHD and executive functioning challenges
-
Relationship concerns
-
Self-esteem difficulties
-
Perfectionism
-
Academic and career stress
-
Major life transitions
Many of my clients are intelligent, capable individuals who have achieved success in important areas of life yet find themselves feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward.
My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and personalized. I believe meaningful change occurs when clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to explore both their current concerns and the deeper factors contributing to them.

Grief, Loss, and Life Transitions
Much of the work I do involves helping clients navigate loss and change. While grief is often associated with the death of a loved one, many of life's most challenging experiences involve grieving something that mattered deeply to us.
Grief may emerge following the loss of a relationship, a job, a home, physical health, a hoped-for future, a stage of life, or a sense of identity. Major life transitions, even positive ones, can bring unexpected feelings of sadness, uncertainty, and loss.
Grief can affect every aspect of life, including mood, relationships, concentration, motivation, self-confidence, and overall well-being. Whether your loss is recent or occurred years ago, therapy can provide a supportive space to process difficult emotions, make meaning of your experiences, and move forward while honoring what has been lost.

Brooke Sweet, PsyD
I am a licensed psychologist with more than fifteen years of experience helping adults navigate life's challenges. I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology from The George Washington University and provide psychotherapy to adults throughout New Jersey and participating PSYPACT states.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, and major life transitions. Together, we identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck while developing healthier ways of coping, relating, and moving forward.
I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to each person's unique experiences, goals, and strengths.
Telehealth Services Across More Than 40 States
In addition to being licensed in New Jersey, I am authorized through PSYPACT (Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact) to provide telehealth services to clients located in participating PSYPACT states. Check to see if you reside in a participating PSYPACT state here.
This allows many clients to continue therapy while attending college out of state, relocating for work, traveling frequently, or maintaining residences in multiple states.
If you are physically located in a participating PSYPACT state at the time of your session, we may be able to work together through secure telehealth services.
Neuropsychological Testing
My practice is currently focused exclusively on psychotherapy services, and I am not conducting neuropsychological evaluations at this time.
If you are seeking testing services, I would be happy to provide referrals to trusted clinicians in the Princeton area.
